Every year, my husband, my son, and I look forward to spending Christmas Eve at Aurelius Imparatul Romanilor. This place has become a cherished tradition for us, thanks to its many exceptional features. The rooms are impressively spacious, providing a sense of comfort and luxury. The SPA area is truly outstanding – last year, they renovated it to include a Himalayan salt wall sauna and a steam sauna. The facilities also feature both indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, a warm water pool, and a cold water pool, all of which make for a wonderfully relaxing experience. Breakfast is another highlight, offering a rich and diverse selection that satisfies every palate. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always adding to the welcoming atmosphere. What stands out is their commitment to continuous improvement. Each year, they upgrade something – this year, it was the carpet; last year, the SPA received its makeover. I’m already counting down the days until our next visit!

The room was incredibly spacious and well appointed but the "piece de resistance" was definitely the huge spa - a great pool, several jacuzzi areas including one outside, plus large saunas and a steam room. Breakfast was plentiful. The receptionist was very helpful, the servers at breakfast, a little less so. It is well situated in Poiana Brasov, nearby to where the bus stops and close to a number of restaurants (unfortunately there are no really good ones in Poiana Brasov, but Vanatorul, almost opposite is probably the best of the bunch as long as you are not vegetarian - they specialise in bear, wild boar, venison etc!). I also felt the hotel was excellent value.

The cleanliness and overall ambiance exceeded my expectations, making the stay truly enjoyable. The attention to detail in the services provided, such as the well-maintained spa and prompt room service, added to the overall positive experience. A special mention for the amazing staff who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I mention in particular Claudia and Robert with whom I interacted the most.
